Kuma is a new arrival in the neighborhood, with fur so thick, he looks enormous, especially in the head, with a tiny little face. He is very proud and refers to himself with the archaic and lordly &quot;wagahai&quot; personal prounoun (in reference to Souseki Natsume&#039;s famous book  _I Am a Cat_. He wants nothing more than to be a house cat, though, and wear a collar proudly.

Sora Kajiwara is a shy first year who joined the art club at her school. Sora slowly becomes less shy as she befriends everyone in the art club. She also grows artistically and learns how to sketch the beautiful world around her... and cats!
