Maihime Tenkawa is the head of Kanagawa City. Nickname: Hime. She is the "strongest princess" who has reigned at the top of Kanagawa for a long time. She is idealistic and has a one-track mind, and her blunt behavior makes her stand out. She is proud of her incredible physical strength, and she uses a sword that she can push energy into that will blast away her opponents in one hit.

The anime takes place in a world where humans are continuing to fight a war against an enemy called UNKNOWN. UNKNOWN invaded several decades ago, and children entered a cold sleep to escape the invasion. When the children awoke, they found themselves with supernatural powers. The children set up defense cities in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba in order to protect the country from the UNKNOWN, who appear through the Tokyo Bay Gate.<br>

Aoi Yabusaki, better known by her stage name Aoi Yuuki, is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer represented by Pro-Fit.

Yuuki entered the entertainment industry at the age of four. As a child, she acted in films and dramas. From 1999 to 2002, she made regular appearances on the variety shows Appare Sanma Dai-sensei and Yappari Sanma Dai-sensei which aired on Fuji TV. When she was in fifth grade, she made her debut as a voice actress as [Sakura](https://anilist.co/character/15429/) on [Kino's Journey](https://anilist.co/anime/486/).

In late 2006, she was affiliated with the theater company Central. After her admission to high school in August 2007, she joined the agency Breath, whilst changing her stage name to Aoi Yuuki. In August of the same year, she moved to the agency Pro-Fit.

In October 2011, she won the Newtype award for best lead voice actress for her role as [Madoka Kaname](https://anilist.co/character/37832/) in [Puella Magi Madoka Magica](https://anilist.co/anime/9756/). She was also awarded for Best Lead Actress in the 6th Seiyuu Awards for Madoka Kaname, [Victorique de Blois](https://anilist.co/character/20170/) and [Tooru Ichii](https://anilist.co/character/38904/).
