Yashiro Isana has lived a relatively ordinary, simple life. He lives in the technologically advanced Shizume City and attends Ashinaka High School, a notable high school that is located on an island just outside the areas. Yashiro is friendly with everyone. Nothing seems wrong about him, except perhaps his habit of forgetting where his school-issued PDA is. 

However, nothing normal has been happening since the recent murder of Tatara Totsuka, prominent member of the infamous HOMRA. No one knows who exactly killed him but the man responsible bears an uncanny, identical appearance to Yashiro. Seeking vengeance, the Red Clansmen of HOMRA set out to get Yashiro and kill him. Everyone suspects that Yashiro is the murderer.

In modern Japan, where history has strangely overlapped with reality. There, seven "Kings" with great superpowers existed. Along with their clansman to whom they shared their own power with, the kings each formed clans. The Blue King Reisi Munakata, the leader of the Blue Clan "Scepter 4," held great responsibilities on his back. The tower that Gold King Daikaku Kokujōji supervised called the Dresden Slate was still on his mind, and he felt a great burden by killing the previous Red King, Mikoto Suoh.
 
On the other hand, the former Red Clan "Homra" clansman Anna Kushina experienced the attacks from the Green Clan "jungle" and awakened as the next Red King. By doing this, she bound her comrades through a strong bond once again.
 
Finally, White Clan members Neko and Kuroh believe that the White King Yashiro is still alive, and seek his whereabouts. However, it was not just them searching for the White King. The Green King Nagare Hisui once again...
 
With "jungle" once again jumping back into action, the fates of the various Kings are brought together.

Adolf K. Weismann is sharing a peaceful meal with his loved ones, while Misaki Yata is having a blast hanging out with his HOMRA buddies. Elsewhere, Seri Awashima is working diligently to carry out her duties as SCEPTER 4, and Sukuna Gojo runs across the battlefield to fulfill the dream of JUNGLE. But as the days go by, something starts to feel off about the events that are going on in this world and the people bound to it.
