Yumemi is just an ordinary girl except that can see the islands of the Heavens floating in the sky. Although her friends support and believe her even though they can't see the Heavenly Kingdoms themselves, Yumemi often feels that she is "different" from everyone else and there is something wrong with her because she sees things no one else can.  Lady Ryuely discribes Yumemi as "... just an ordinary child with unlimited possibilities".  In Munto's vision Yumemi holds the power to open the future of the Heavens, she is the key to saving the seven Heavenly Kingdoms from destruction. At great personal risk he travels to the Lower World to find the one he calls the "Girl of Destiny".  

To save both the Magical Kingdom and the Heavens and restore the flow of akuto, the flow of energy of everything, the Magical King Munto must follow a vision and find the girl Yumemi in the normal world. Yumemi herself is just a normal girl except that she is the only one who can see the islands of the Heavens floating above. When Munto appears before her she starts thinking about hers and others responsibility to the world.

Mai Aizawa is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with Aoni Production. She played Ayano in Lucky Star, Natsumi Murakami in Negima and Mio Naganohara in Nichijou. Her album, Moi, was illustrated by Ken Akamatsu. Aizawa performed theme songs for the variety show Gyōkai yōgo no kiso chishiki dan mitsu on'na gakuen (ja: 業界用語の基礎知識 壇蜜女学園).
