One of the twelve sisters in Sister Princess, Aria is a very soft-spoken and shy girl. Due to her timid nature, she tends to cry upon the slightest trouble, as well as utter the phrase &ldquo;kusu&rdquo;, in hopes that her beloved brother will come &lsquo;save the day&rsquo; for her.    According to the creators, she originates from France. Her elegant dressing of frills and lace is a further emphasis on that. She is extremely fond of cute things (animal plushies), sweets, and especially parfait. Aria has also been shown to possess many child-like qualities; such as a vivid imagination of the things around her, the referring to herself in third-person, and to speak in an awkwardly slow fashion.    All twelve sisters has a unique way of calling their brother, and Aria addresses him as Nii-ya (兄や), which is perhaps the most childish way to call brother.

Wataru Minakami is a top student who failed his high school entrance exam because of a computer glitch. He later discovered that he was accepted to Stargazer Hill Academy, which is located at a mysterious place called Promised Island. At the request of his father, Wataru is whisked away to the island, and before he can settle in, a dozen of cute and charming girls start to flock him and claim to be his younger sisters. As Wataru gets closer to his newfound siblings, a deeper mystery as to why they were sent to the island comes to play. <br><br>

She is admired by many of her fellow actors and fans because of the fact that she has a great amount of power and strength in her singing voice, which surprises many fans due to her regularly petite stature. She was also the winner of the "Best Musical Performance" award in the first Seiyuu Awards. She was also part of the quartet Prits alongside Yumiko Kobayashi, Natsuko Kuwatani, and Hisayo Mochizuki (all four voiced characters in the anime _Sister Princess_). Her singing style comes from singing Enka since she was young.

In July 2020, she married someone from the music industry, and they had their first child on March 16, 2021.
