A short first year student who often has overly long sleeves. She is very protective of Run and will punish anyone who tries to make a move on her. She also frequently accosts Run's classmate, Yuuko, because of a misunderstanding on the day they met. 

Tooru and Run have been best friends forever, so when Tooru learns that she's managed to get into the same high school as Run, she runs to tell her&hellip; only to find Run in a compromising position with yet another girl, Yuko. Needless to say, that makes things a bit awkward at school, with Tooru fending off those who might be interested in Run while Yuko and their other girlfriend, Nagi, have to deal with Run's own penchant for drama.

Aoi Yabusaki, better known by her stage name Aoi Yuuki, is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer represented by Pro-Fit.

Yuuki entered the entertainment industry at the age of four. As a child, she acted in films and dramas. From 1999 to 2002, she made regular appearances on the variety shows Appare Sanma Dai-sensei and Yappari Sanma Dai-sensei which aired on Fuji TV. When she was in fifth grade, she made her debut as a voice actress as [Sakura](https://anilist.co/character/15429/) on [Kino's Journey](https://anilist.co/anime/486/).

In late 2006, she was affiliated with the theater company Central. After her admission to high school in August 2007, she joined the agency Breath, whilst changing her stage name to Aoi Yuuki. In 2008, she got her first major role in [Kure-nai](https://anilist.co/anime/3358/) as [Murasaki Kuhouin](https://anilist.co/character/10174/). In August of the same year, she moved to the agency Pro-Fit.

In October 2011, she won the Newtype award for best lead voice actress for her role as [Madoka Kaname](https://anilist.co/character/37832/) in [Puella Magi Madoka Magica](https://anilist.co/anime/9756/). Following the everyday lives of four high school girls: the flighty Run, the reckless Tooru, the timid Yuuko, and the level-headed Nagi. 
Mountain of Pancakes &mdash; Kitou-sensei injures her hand during class and has to deal with it while Tooru brings cat Tansan to school with her to meet Yutaka and Miho. Later, the girls decide to get pancakes at a caf&eacute; where Miho happens to be working, facing trouble when Yutaka shows up out of the blue. 
A Picture of a Wish &mdash; Yuuko catches a cold so the others pay her a visit and help look after her. Later, the girls get together for the New Year's shrine visit.
