Believed to be the most feared and powerful Toushi around, she even carries the nearly invincible Blue Dragon Crescent Blade from her predecessor as well as the legendary sword Kusanagi; she also has overwhelming chi. She believes her destiny is to die protecting Ryuubi. It is believed by many characters that Ryomou will one day kill her. Presumed to be an old friend of Kakouton and Kakuka. Despite this, however, she seems to have taken an interest in Koukin (this happens only in the "English Adaptation", it is not present in the original JPN manga).

Loosely based on the novel 'Romance of the three kingdoms', modern day Japan sees a similar struggle for power between different rival schools with the three strongest being; Kyosho Academy led by Sousou Moutoku, Nanyo Academy by Sonsaku Hakufu and Ryuubi Gentoku from Seito High School. Together these three tousei, each with their own mangatama, fight for the honour of becoming ikki tousen and fulfilling their fated destiny through battle and conquest.

Uncensored Ikkitousen: Great Guardians DVD Comedy Specials.

Immediately following the events of "Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor", the kids from Nanyo Academy head to Kyoto for a school trip. Before long, they run into rival classmates from other Kanto schools and find themselves confronted by Kyoto's best fighters. It's a battle of epic proportions. Hopefully the city of Kyoto will be left standing!

Seven schools are constantly 'at war' with each other, and the students within - both male and female - have become skilled fighters and constantly battle with rival schools. Their lives and fates are guided by strange jewels that contain the spirits and destinies of warriors from the Sangokushi period. One girl, Sonsaku Hakufu, has recently moved to Japan and is apparently destined to unite the schools as her counterpart united seven countries long ago. But, like all heroes, there is a darker side to her fate, and as always there is a constant struggle by those around her to break the chains of their own destinies and make their own lives.

The fighters of the Kanto region have been able to determine that the previously unknown attackers are from Nara and are connected to the Yamato School and its dangerous leader Himiko. With leaders Hakufu Sonsaku and Moutoku Sousou already stripped of their Magatama jewels by the attackers, only Gentoku Ryuubi remains as the only fully operational leader. In order to maintain sufficient fighting strength, the fighters of Nanyo, Kyosho and Seito join forces for the counterattack. Although they expect to fall into a skillful trap, in the end they have no choice and even Hakufu wants to join in. However, Hakufu is “forgotten” at one of the stations on the way to Nara…

An American voice actress best known for her roles in various anime shows, films, video games, and web series. Berry is also a recording artist and YouTube Personality under the name "The Unknown Songbird."

As a sequel to the Ikkitousen series, Shin Ikkitousen focuses on highschools which are each equipped with fighters that contain the essence of Ancient Chinese soldiers from the Three Kingdoms with the use of Magatama. Just as the turf war in the Kanto region comes to a stop and progress in recovery is made the area is back on blast following the start of "Magatama hunting" with the direction of the powerful leader, Himiko.
 
Note: The first episode received an advance broadcast on March 27, 2022. The regular TV broadcast started on May 17, 2022.

Kansai fighters have begun raiding the Kanto area in order to pillage sacred beads. As members of all three of the main schools come under attack, Ryuubi and friends try to figure out a solution that results in the fewest casualties.
