Yasuomi always wears his sunglasses. He is loud and stubborn and a force to be reckoned with. He is smarter than he appears and is a trusted coach.

The story centers on Mikoto Shiratori, a childhood prodigy at badminton, but who never recovered from a major loss during a high school competition. Now, he works in the sales department of the Sunlight Beverage company, playing badminton on the side.

Takaya Kuroda is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with Axlone. And the lead singer of the rock band Takaya Kuroda & Goodfellas.

He is best known for his bass voice, which has usually seen him cast in villainous roles. Because of his vocal resemblance to the late [Hirotaka Suzuoki](https://anilist.co/staff/95572/), he was chosen to replace Suzuoki as the voice of [Starscream](https://anilist.co/character/3913/) in Transformers as Suzuoki's health deteriorated.

To the western audiences he is probably most known for providing the voice of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the Yakuza video game series. Kuroda is also the man who sings the famous "Baka Mitai" song related to the series.
