One of the &quot;Sweets Princes&quot; of the school, who specializes in chocolate sweets. His dream is to become a patissier and make chocolate just like his uncle. His parents are a prestigious family of doctors who do not approve of his studying to become a patissier, and therefore one of the conditions under which he can stay at St. Marie Academy is to always be at the top of his class. 
Kashino is unsociable, straightforward, and has a prickly character. Except for his childhood friend Andou, his self-confidence makes him reject everyone. He ignored both Hanabusa&#039;s and the Sweet Spirits&#039; friendship when they met and has been mostly cold towards Ichigo because of her clumsiness and happy-go-lucky personality.
Even though he is hard on Ichigo, he really does care about her. Throughout the story Kashino starts to open up more and care more about others.

Middle schooler Ichigo Amano has never excelled at anything (other than eating cakes, of course), but a chance encounter with famed pâtissier Henri Lucas changes everything! Henri immediately recognizes Ichigo’s extraordinary palate, offering her a spot at the prestigious pastry school known as St. Marie Academy. There Ichigo meets the Sweet Princes and their fairy guardians, the Sweets Spirits — and together they are determined to become the most acclaimed pastry chefs around!

Amano Ichigo is a 14-year-old cake lover. After meeting a lecturer, Henrie Lucas, at a cake buffet, she enters St. Marie Academy—a school that raises and cultivates future pâtissières. Not only is she placed in the elitist group with three princes of sweets, but she also meets sweets spirit Vanilla on her first day of transfer. Ichigo is air-headed, a total klutz, and a complete novice at cake making, but she's trying her best mastering one at a time in order to make her eaters happy.
