In the time between the fall of the Shogunate and the rise of the Meiji era, a powerful bright light emitted from a wand brings an end to the long Shogunate period to avoid further bloodshed as Japan begins to shift toward a new era. Amid these circumstances, a one-eyed wandering ronin named Izou, who has lost his reason to live, and Raiden, an orc who detests murder and hopes to leave a life of thievery behind, separately meet a young elf girl named Sonya around the same time. Together, they go on a journey along the Tokaido road to bring her and the wand she holds safely to the land of the elves in the north. Standing in their path is the mysterious organization Inferni, which aims to obtain the wand and revive the Dark Lord, who intends to rule all of creation. Inferni also uses the new Meiji government in its attempt to steal the wand from Izou, Raiden and Sonya. Traveling along the Tokaido road from Kyoto to Yokohama, Izou and Raiden begin their journey to protect the wand.

Yuuki Nomura is the son of Mansai Nomura - a famous Kyogen performer (although he would later also have roles on TV and film). 

Following in his father's footsteps, Yuuki first began acting through Noh - a traditional Japanese mask theater performance - and would take on his first role in a TV drama in 2021 as a background character in "ソロモンの偽証 (Solomon's Perjury)". Later, he would lend his voice in his first animated production as Izou - the main character of the Netflix ONA "BRIGHT: Samurai Soul". 

Simu Liu is a Chinese-Canadian actor, stuntman, and writer born in Harbin, China. He spent five years in Harbin being raised by his grandparents while his parents were studying at university in Canada when they decided to bring him over. 

Liu originally did not have plans to become an actor, as he originally graduated with an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 and worked as an accountant. Unfortunately, his accounting career was short-lived, as he was fired. After being fired from his accounting job, he decided to take the opportunity to change his career and pursue acting.  However, it would take a while for his acting career to take off. As a result, he took on jobs as a stock photo model and superhero for kids' birthday parties. At the same time, he would star in a variety of small roles, before getting his big break in 2016, starring as Jung Kim in the Canadian sitcom Kim's Convenience. 

Thanks to his role on the show, he was able to land a role as Shang-Chi - Marvel's first Asian superhero - and was announced as the titular character at ComiCon in 2019.

Olavo Setembro Cavalheiro is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, director and singer.

In 2008 he won the reality show High School Musical: The Selection and, in February 2010, he starred in the film High School Musical: The Challenge. 
He also participated in several series on Disney Channel Brazil and Multishow. In addition, he was also part of the cast of several theatrical shows.
