Takamatsu is a very calm and composed kind of a guy. He dislikes commotion and wants to avoid trouble as much as possible. His character is mysterious.   ~!In Episode 5, it is revealed that he has a very well built muscular figure compare to his 'genius' looks  In Episode 11, he was eaten by the new enemy, "Shadow", and turned into an NPC. During that, he lost his glasses, which is something he never does. He is destined to remain in the world without a soul, performing daily tasks like other NPCs.  In Episode 13, he recovered from being an NPC because of his strong will as stated during the conversation of Yuri and Hinata.!~  ~!Takamatsu's weapons include a SIG SG 552 assault rifle and a Desert Eagle pistol, both of which availed him little in the events of episode 8.!~

Otonashi wakes up in the afterlife to find out he has no memories of his life before death. Desperate to survive in a war that could yield another unfortunate fate, he joins the SSS in the battle against Angel, whose very mission is to destroy all inhabitants of this afterlife. As Otonashi struggles to recover his memory and learn more about this world, he finds that not all is as it had seemed.
