Icarus Toma is Eagle Marin&#039;s younger brother, that she lost years ago, before becoming a Silver Saint. In the Next Dimension manga, he&#039;s imprisoned for all this time in the Heaven, and that&#039;s why he accepts Callisto&#039;s order to kill Pegasus Seiya, trying to get his own freedom.    In the movie The Heaven Chapter - Prelude, there&#039;s not much explanation about him and his motives. The Icarus Glory, comparing the manga and the movie versions, are also very different.

After the Saints' victory against Hades, Seiya is left wounded and motionless in a wheel chair with no possible chance of recovery. Athena's sister Artemis, the Virgin Goddess of the Moon and twin sister of Apollo, makes an elaborate proposal - to restore Seiya's physical health in exchange for the supremacy of Sanctuary. Athena accepts and Artemis and her "Knights of the Sky" swiftly take control of Sanctuary. Now Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints combat the forces of Zeus to regain their homeland but it will not be so easy. Bronze Saints Hydra Ichi and Unicorn Jabu, and Silver Saint Ophiuchus Shaina have join forces with Artemis and Apollo.

Stéphane Ronchewski is a French actor and writer.


In 1990 (previously 1986), in Elysion; the five Bronze Saints Seiya, Hyōga, Shun, Shiryū and Ikki, having wreaked havoc in the Underworld's army and succeeding in resurrecting the God Cloths, engage the god Hades in a final duel to the death. 
During the battle, Hades remembers that he has seen Seiya's face before and comes to the conclusion that he faced him before. He thus starts reminiscing about his previous host body, and the story starts 247 years prior, in the 18th century. 
The protagonist, the Pegasus Saint of this era, is an orphan who is best friends with a boy named Alone, the host of Hades. Former Bronze Saints Dohko and Sion, two prominent characters in Kurumada's original manga as the sole survivors of the holy war of that century, have just been promoted to Gold Saints and eventually the two duos meet.
 
Note: The chapter count includes 118 regular chapters, 2 special chapters included in volume 10, and a prologue.

Eight-page one-shot full color manga written and drawn by Masami Kurumada as a prologue to Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen Josou - Overture, in order to promote the movie's theatrical release. It was released on the 4th issue of Shueisha's SUPER JUMP magazine in 2004.
