Dokuro Mitsukai is a cute angelic assassin from the future brought back through time to kill Sakura Kusakabe, but instead tries to save him. Mostly, she is just like any other young girl but where other girls might shout or slap to express their displeasure, Dokuro draws her magical spiked tetsubo "Excalibolg" and brutally clubs her victim to death with it. She's also capable of bringing someone back to life with Excalibolg by chanting Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi (the refrain of the theme song in the opening credits). When she isn't brutally killing Sakura she teases him mercilessly, mostly using sexual innuendos.  

In the future, a junior high student, Kusakabe Sakura, will offend God by inventing immortality so that women will stop aging after they turn twelve. Dokuro-chan is an angel from the future sent to kill him. However, Dokuro-chan thinks that Sakura can be spared, so her idea is to constantly occupy Sakura so that he will never be able to invent the technology. Sometimes the angel will go crazy and kill him with her bat, Excalibolg, but she can revive him easily. "Pi-piru-piru-piru-pi-piru-pi!"

Wendee Lee is an American voice actress and one of the most prolific and experienced American voice actors in the business. While she has done voicework for many video games, as well as several episodes in the Power Rangers franchise, she is particularly prolific in the dubbing of anime, where she has more credits than any other English anime voice actor with currently two hundred and fourteen credits.

Saeko Chiba took up ballet at a young age with ambitions of becoming part of Takarazuka Revue. However, having failed the entrance exam for Takarazuka Music School in her third year of middle-school she joined the Minami Aoyama Shōjo Kageki Dan (南青山少女歌劇団, also called Nanshō for short) a stage group for teenage girls. Having had several lead roles over the three years she spent with the troupe, Saeko was then cast in the lead voice acting role of Kotori Haruno in the Sega Dreamcast game Diamond Daydreams. Having had a taste of being a seiyū and deciding that she preferred voice acting to performing on stage, Saeko decided to pursue the career full-time.

Saeko has also pursued a singing career with [Yuki Kajiura](https://anilist.co/staff/100077), who wrote music for some of the Nanshō stage shows, writing and producing almost all her material. Her first single was Koi no Kiseki, the theme song for the PlayStation game Meguri Aishite. She has since released nine singles and two albums, along with various character song and drama CDs. She has also performed theme songs for games such as Alundra 2 and Atelier Judie.

Saeko was also part of the group tiaraway with fellow Nanshō member [Yuuka Nanri](https://anilist.co/staff/95366). The duo released three singles and an album before breaking up on March 6 2005.

On August 26th, 2007 she married (on her 30th birthday), and on February 17, 2011 she gave birth to her first child, a daughter.

In the future, a man named Sakura is destined to create the technology for eternal life which, due to Sakura's lolicon tendencies, freezes all women's aging once they turn twelve. God refuses to allow this, so he sends his angels to the past to kill Sakura. However, one angel, Dokuro-chan, decides to try to change the future without killing him. The problem is that Dokuro is very temperamental, and is constantly killing Sakura (along with many others) in incredibly bloody ways with her giant spiked club. Good thing she can bring people back to life… if only to gruesomely kill them again the next time she loses her temper.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan tells the story of a 13-year-old junior high schooler, Sakura Kusakabe, who, twenty years in the future, while attempting to create a "Pedophile's World" forces all women to stop aging after the age of twelve, offends God by the side effect of having created immortality. Dokuro Mitsukai, a member of an order of assassin angels that are called Rurutie, has been sent from the future to kill him. Believing that Sakura can be redeemed, Dokuro decides instead to keep Sakura so occupied that he can never develop the immortality technology. Due to her impulsive nature and super-human strength, however, she frequently kills him with her gigantic spiked kanab&#333; (club), Excaliborg, on a moment's impulse, but returns him to life moments later with angelic power. Sabato, another assassin of the Rurutie order who uses her feminine wiles to do her job, is dispatched to complete Dokuro's original mission: Sakura's assassination.<br><br>
