Yuta Hibiki awakens with amnesia and the ability see things that others cannot. He first encounters a Gridman in the reflection of his friend Rikka Takarada's computer and it tells him to "Remember his calling," but Yuta doesn't understand what this means. Later, in the distance, he sees an extremely large monster but it doesn't move. It's only when Yuta gets to school that the two sightings make sense: a monster attacks and the hero Yuta saw in the computer screen pulls him within the computer and transforms Yuta into a giant hero named Gridman.

Starred in the tokusatsu TV drama "Denkou Choujin Gridman" produced by Tsuburaya Productions as Naoto Sho. After the broadcast of "Gridman", he was active mainly in dramas, but retired from acting around 1999.

Currently runs a restaurant in Tokyo and refuses to answer questions about past work, sign autographs, or photograph his appearance outside of fan meetings. 

Theatrical follow-up to SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON. 

A year has passed since the events of SSSS.GRIDMAN. The world is at peace and no one except for Rikka and Utsumi remembers the kaiju, Gridman, or Akane Shinjou. This includes Yuuta, who despite serving as Gridman's host, has no memory of the most important moments of his life. So when a new Kaiju appears, he leaps at the chance to prove to himself that he too can be the hero by merging with Gridman once more.
