Just like Mitsuhashi, Itou got transferred to Nanyou High&#039;s first year.
Being a complete reversal of Mitsuhashi, Itou&#039;s the kind of righteous person fighting for justice. Like his personality, his fighting style is also the opposite of Mitsuhashi&#039;s: he&#039;s incredibly tough, and often stands up from any beating, even in the most bleak of situations. While he may be as strong as Mitsuhashi, Itou is beat up much more often than Mitsuhashi due to often sacrificing himself to protect others as well as fighting fair in unfair situations or against numerable opponents. He dates Kyoko.

This anime is about two students who are tired of being normal and unpopular at their old schools, after they both transfer to a new one they try to change that by deciding to become delinquents. After a rough start they become friends and the righteous Itou with the cheater Takashi start their (dis)adventures trying to survive the other delinquents from both their own and other schools.

After Takashi's family moves into a new neighborhood, he decides to use the opportunity to become a delinquent. Upon meeting Itou, he finds out that he wasn't the only one who had this idea.
