Hyui of the Wind (風のヒューイ, Kaze no Hyūi?) is the leader of the Goshasei's Wind Army and uses a style which allows him to slice using manipulate wind pressure. In the manga, Hyui faces Raoh immediately after his first appearance and is quickly defeated. Before dying, he tells Raoh that the rest of the Goshasei will come looking for him and Ken. In the TV series, Hyui encounters Kenshiro as well prior to fighting Raoh. He also has a younger brother in the TV series named Shion (シオン, Shion? voiced by Keiichi Nanba).  Source: Wikipedia

He was a veteran seiyuu born in Chiba Prefecture.  He retired from voice acting on December 31st, 2000 when he felt a weakness in his own voice. Sogabe died on September 17th, 2006 at around 8 PM from esophageal cancer, with which he had been diagnosed two months before.
