Rihaku of the Ocean (海のリハク, Umi no Rihaku?) is the Military General of the Goshasei. Unlike the other Goshasei, he shows little martial art skills and relies primarily on elaborate traps to protect Yuria from Raoh. He is the sole survivor of the Goshasei against Raoh, but loses his daughter Toh, who commits suicide. He later becomes the elder statesman of Bat and Lin's Hokuto Army resistance.

Nuclear war has devastated the planet, turning one fertile ground into a barren, inhospitable landscape on which mankind struggles desperately to stay alive. Takeshi Aono was an actor, voice actor, and narrator from Asahikawa, Hokkaido. He was attached to Aoni Production at the time of his death. He graduated from Hokkaido Asahikawa Higashi High School.

In the second series after Raoh has been defeated by Kenshiro a new rival appears. The Gentou Kouken warriors. Falco the successor of the Gentou Kouken takes orders from an evil ruler by the name of Jacko. He claims to be the man chosen by the Tentei and issues orders to his subordinates to capture anyone living in order to build up his Imperial Capital. Kenshiro once again rises out of the shadows and puts an end to his tyrannical ways. Amidst the mayhem Lynn gets captured and gets taken to the land of the Shura where only ruthless fighters exist. Now Kenshiro must pursue the captor and defeat the 3 Rasho of the land in order to escape with his life and with Lynn.

The story is a spin-off prequel to the original Hokuto no Ken. It centers around Garuda who practices the Nanto Shinchou Ken style of martial arts. In the manga he will fight the five Nanto Goshasei members, impress Rihaku and provide a chance for Kenshirou and Yuria to unite.

The third chapter of the pentalogy (3 Movies + 2 OVAs). A retelling of Kenshiro's final battle with Raoh.
