The first Shuichiro Kudo is a young doctor who rescues Kohaku from the tree where they are trapped. For this he is granted a wish, but isn't interested as he has everything he wants. Shuichiro is generally kind and trusting, but isn't one to seek other people's company - something that is remedied throughout the course of the story by the two angels, two demons and two servant demons who all move into his house.

~!However, when Kohaku is called back to Heaven, they realize how much they're in love with him, and when he comes back he makes his wish - for Kohaku to stay with him. Shortly afterward, he dies unexpectedly from an unknown.!~

Sweet and na&iuml;ve Hanato Kobato came to Earth on a mission to collect and fill a bottle with 'konpeito,' which appear after healing a person's heart that is suffering. Kobato collects these because it is her wish to go to a certain place. Despite her strangeness, Kobato turns out to be well-suited for this mission as her heartfelt sincerity in helping others earns her the love and admiration of everyone she meets. However, she is not allowed to fall in love with anyone whose heart she heals.

One night, a man named Shuichiro Kudo comes across a tiny angel trapped on a tree branch. He frees her, and in return she offers to grant him a wish. However, Shuichiro is a successful doctor, with a home and everything he needed; he declined the angel's offer. The persistant angel, named Kohaku, refused to give up, stating that "some wishes cannot be fufilled by oneself." After settling in at Shuichiro's home, Kohaku reveals her mission to track down the Angel Master of Wind, Hisui, who has abandoned heaven. That is, if her devil rival and his two catty servants would let her leave long enough to do so...

"Wish" is about 28-year-old Shuichiro Kudo, a doctor who stumbles across Kohaku, one of God's angels. When he inadvertantly saves her life from one of the devil's servants, Kohaku decides to grant him a wish to repay him for his kindness. However, upon discovering that Shuichiro has no wish, Kohaku devotes herself to him, vowing to serve him until he has a wish that she can grant. However, both discover that there are some wishes that can't be granted by oneself.
