A returnee who attends an international school. She goes by the moniker CHU² (read as CHUCHU) and is the leader and DJ for the band RAISE A SUILEN. She is also a music producer who uses DTM (Desktop Music) to compose music, and she's the one who scouted PAREO as a keyboardist.

Chiyu is 14 years old but due to her excellent grades, she is currently a 10th grader or a first year high school student. Chiyu is both very professional and confident of her band and ideas, and although she tends to be arrogant sometimes, she's not rude. She dreams of changing the world with the strongest music.

As a result of her studying in an international school, Chiyu often talks in English or adds English words to her sentences.

It's a new school year and Kasumi, Arisa, Saaya, Tae, and Rimi are thrilled to finally be second-year students. Even more exciting than becoming upperclassmen, however, is the fun they have while performing in their band Poppin' Party… until things get out of control when the girls publicly announce that they're going to do their own concert before they've really studied the issue. 
 
Suddenly they're committed to doing something that's a lot more difficult than it seemed, and the pressure is doubled since their musical rivals in Roselia, who've also announced a live concert, are way ahead of them in planning! But you can't stop the music, and with a little hard work and help from other groups and some talented newcomers, Poppin' Party fever will soon be popping up all over!

A voice actress from Okinawa, Japan. She is the DJ of the band [RAISE A SUILEN](https://anilist.co/staff/153132/). She is affiliated with HiBiKi. 

Risa went to an international school when she was younger, and as a result she is quite skilled in English. She is also proficient in speaking in the Okinawan dialect, as she was born in Okinawa. Risa began dreaming of becoming a voice actress after hearing Aya Hirano's voice acting. In 2017 Risa was scouted and became affiliated with HiBiKi through their rookie scouting. She then debuted with the role of Yuzuki "Hime" Yukimura in the 15th episode of Aikatsu Friends!. Risa's addition RAISE A SUILEN was announced during their second official live on July 17, 2018. On October 19, 2022, she announced her marriage with the composer [Yuuki Honda](https://anilist.co/staff/220707/Yuuki-Honda).

Risa's hobbies include traveling around different shrines and temples, doing illustrations, and collecting temple seals. She is also quite skilled at tennis. Her favorite foods are cheese, jerky, and prosciutto. She often adds English words in her speech and is very energetic.



It's here! The big concert! Kasumi Toyama, the girl who followed the trail of golden stars and heard the call of the Star Beat, and her friends/bandmates Saya, Tae, Rimi and Arisa, are now poised on the edge of stardom themselves as they prepare for a massive outdoor concert! It's a huge venue to fill, but fortunately Poppin'Party won't be the only band taking the stage during this major musical event. It's a non-stop wall of J-Pop fun as Afterglow, Pastel Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World! all join the ladies of Poppin'Party, and while they're all still competing against each other, the real winners are the lucky members of the audience!

The girls of Poppin'Party have come a long way, but the competition coming up is the biggest yet - the BanG Dream! Girls Band challenge at the legendary Budokan! Slots to compete are limited and the usual competitors will be vying for the chance, but the band to beat is the new RAISE A SUILEN, whose founder, Chiyu, has sworn to destroy both Roselia and Poppin'Party! 
 
Indeed, Chiyu's main goal is to make Roselia's lead Yukina pay for denying Chiyu a spot as a producer, and the musical prodigy has the connections and resources to push the competition up to the next level! Can Poppin'Party keep up with the increased tempo and meet challenges like producing their own music video? They'll have to if they want to make it to the big show!

BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage is the second animated live movie for the BanG Dream! franchise and the sequel to BanG Dream! FILM LIVE.

It was announced on March 16, 2020 and premiered in Japanese theaters on August 20, 2021. Additionally, a pre-screening was held in five selected theaters across the country on August 10, 2021. It premiered in the United States and Canada through Eventive on September 18, 2021. 
Note: The film has 3 different post-credit scenes originally rotated weekly on theater showings. On Crunchyroll, these alternative scenes are streamed as separate episodes.

Animated music video directed by JINO for the song Repaint by RAISE A SUILEN. This song is a collaboration with Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas who composed, arranged, and wrote the lyrics for the track.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Bushiroad's mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, a two-episode special anime will be aired and streamed simultaneously. The story of the special anime centers on "CiRCLE THANKS PARTY!", an event to thank the fans who have supported the bands since the days of the live house CiRCLE. The 35 girls scramble to prepare for the event, which will include food stands and live performances. And then, Kasumi and the others decide to perform a new song together at the live...
