Ayumu Uehara is one of thirteen members of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. She is a member of A・ZU・NA, a unit under Nijigaku. She is a second year student and her image color is light pink. 

She is hard working and believes that trying your best is the only thing to do. She is kind, sociable and wants everyone to succeed. Ayumu can also be rather clumsy at times.

Debut group single for the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club as part of the Love Live! PERFECT Dream Project. The music video for TOKIMEKI Runners, along with the opening movie for the Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS, was released in the DVD/Blu-Ray release coinciding with the album.

Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yuu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara.
