Emiru is very overprotective and does not like being looked after. She also admires the Pretty Cures because of her wish to be a heroine herself, but often gets carried away when trying to protect others thanks to her exaggerated actions. Flaws aside, she is still caring toward her friends and tries her best to cheer them up. She also has a strong passion for singing and playing the guitar, despite her brother not supporting her at first. Like anyone her age, she still has many childish traits, such as sleeping with stuffed animals and not believing anything until there is evidence. She also has a strong emotional side, which once resulted in her losing her voice. 

Emiru first befriends [Ruru](https://anilist.co/character/125822/Ruru-Amour) when the latter inadvertently compliments her. ~!They become better friends as Ruru tells off Masato for being sexist towards Emiru and Emiru finds out that Ruru is an android. Eventually, Ruru becomes Emiru's Pretty Cure partner.!~

In order to protect Hug-tan, Hana wishes to do something to help her, and her wish is granted, as she gains a Mirai Crystal and transforms into Cure Yell. The world is overflowed with Tomorrow Powerer, which is the power to create a brilliant tomorrow, which is crystallized into the Mirai Crystals. If it's stolen, everyone's future will not exist. To protect Hug-tan and everyone's future, Cure Yell will do her best!
