Time is running out. The curse imposed on Elizabeth will kill her in few days. To lift the curse Meliodas and Ban have travelled to the Demon Realm to challenge Meliodas' father, the Demon King.
 
Meanwhile, Merlin, Escanor, and Archangel Ludociel are set to slay Meliodas' brother Zeldris. Elsewhere, Meliodas' other brother Estarossa has kidnapped Elizabeth, and it falls to King, Diane, Gowther, and Hawk to rescue her.

When they were accused of trying to overthrow the monarchy, the feared warriors the Seven Deadly Sins were sent into exile. Princess Elizabeth discovers the truth the Sins were framed by the king's guard, the Holy Knights too late to prevent them from assassinating her father and seizing the throne! Now the princess is on the run, seeking the Sins to help her reclaim the kingdom. But the first Sin she meets, Meliodas, is a little innkeeper with a talking pig. He doesn't even have a real sword! Have the legends of the Sins' strength been exaggerated...?

Despite repelling the demon invasion of the Kingdom of Lioness, the war is far from over, for Arthur's Kingdom of Camelot is still being occupied by the demon army and the surviving members of Jikkai. However, in order to begin counter-offensive, the Seven Deadly Sins needs all of its members. Unfortunately, King and Diane are still hiding in the Fairy King's Forest, where they are made to discover the strange history of Jikkai.

Mini anime of Nanatsu no Taizai parodying six fairy tales: "Little Match Girl," "Urashima Tarou," "Tsuru no Ongaeshi," "Snow White's Scary Adventures," "The Honest Woodcutter," and "Momotarou." They were released daily on the official VAP Youtube channel and on the official Twitter account.

Taking place in-between the final two episodes of Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan, Meliodas and his friends jump back into action when the new era of peace is threatened by a powerful magical alliance that could spell the end for all. The original film also adapts the manga's last chapter.
