Sukuna Gojo is a boy who ran away from his wealthy home after becoming disgusted by his controlling parents. Since then, he’s been surviving alone on the streets using an SNS app called JUNGLE, which grants its user unnatural power and abilities.
 
One day, Sukuna comes into contact with the founder of JUNGLE, the Green King Nagare Hisui.
 
Wanting to learn more about the mysterious Green King, Sukuna decides to climb up the ranks of JUNGLE so that he can meet Hisui in person. But in order to reach the highest rank, Sukuna must defeat the most powerful user in JUNGLE.

Over a decade ago, a clash between the Red King Genji Kagutsu and Blue King Jin Habari led to what would later become known as the Kagutsu Incident—a catastrophic disaster that wiped out a portion of eastern Japan, claiming over 700,000 lives, including that of the two kings.
 
Years later, Goki Zenjo, former right-hand man to Jin Habari and a survivor of the incident, returns to work for SCEPTER 4, now under the command of Reisi Munakata, the new Blue King. However, Zenjo is still having difficulties accepting Munakata as his new king.
 
One day, Munakata requests that Zenjo personally train a young new recruit named Takeru Kusuhara, insisting that his teachings will become crucial to the future of SCEPTER 4.

Misaki Yata is an energetic youth whose reckless and immature attitude has led him to be shunned by his classmates. Saruhiko Fushimi is a loner whose dysfunctional family, particularity his eccentric father, Niki, has led him to view the world in a pessimistic way.
 
Despite being polar opposites, Yata’s enthusiasm eventually wins Fushimi’s trust, and the two become the best of friends.
 
As time passes on, the two boys grow tired of being trapped inside their small world, leading them to set foot in the turbulent and dangerous world of the Dresden Slate…
